WHAT IS LAMINATED WOOD JOINERY
Laminated wood is made from carefully kiln-dried wooden lamellas, bonded together through structural gluing in multiple layers.
This technology reduces the internal stresses of the wood and provides superior dimensional stability compared to traditional solid wood.
The result is precise joinery that is resistant to temperature and humidity variations.

Technical Details – Laminated Wood Joinery
Laminated Wood Structure
The profiles are made from 3-layer laminated wood, obtained from carefully selected and kiln-dried lamellas.
The wood used is dried to a moisture content of approximately 10–12%, optimal for both exterior and interior joinery.
Wood Species Used
Depending on the project, we work with:
- spruce
- pine
Profiles and Dimensions
The profile sections are adapted to each project, allowing the creation of solid and stable elements.
Typically, the profiles have sections ranging between 68 and 92 mm, depending on the type of window or door and the glazing configuration.
Thermal and Sound Insulation
The joinery can be equipped with:
- double or triple insulating glass
- thermal spacers
The window thermal transmittance coefficient (Uw) can reach approximately 0.9–1.2 W/m²K.
Sound insulation can reach values of up to 35–40 dB.
Hardware and Sealing
Windows and doors are equipped with multi-point locking hardware, ensuring:
- uniform pressure on the gaskets
- safe and durable operation
- effective sealing against air and water
Finishes and Protection
The surfaces are treated with water-based lacquers and paints, applied in multiple layers, providing:
- UV protection
- moisture resistance
- protection against biological agents
Durability and Maintenance
Laminated wood joinery is designed for a lifespan of over 30 years under normal use and maintenance conditions.
Periodic refinishing helps maintain both performance and aesthetic appearance.
